The Decentralized Web: How Much Regulation is Necessary?

While the US is largely adopting aggressive enforcement strategies and acting highly political, the EU is approaching Web3 more technically, potentially providing legal clarity for users, increasing adoption, and hopefully fostering startups in this field. However, DAOs are hard to regulate and will force legislators to rethink their approach. In this discussion, we aim to bring together several viewpoints in this field to discuss: an EU politician who was involved in MiCA, a Web3 Foundations CLO, a privacy activist, an ecosystem community representative, and a startup.
